The awaited day has finally arrived. Before the kids see the tree.
We started a tradition while living in Utah to have the kids eat donuts and milk upstairs before going down and opening presents. We did this to keep them
occupied while we waited for Grandpa and Grandma Burgess to arrive. They make us still do this tradition even though there is no purpose to it anymore.

Rylie wouldn't either, but
at least I took it before she escaped.
This year was great. We got the kids lots of similar things so they would play together. Santa brought all, but Jacob,
Pillow Pets.
Rylie and Emily both got slumber bags. Alison, Josh, and
Rylie got
playdoh sets, Ali and Josh got paint by numbers, Ali and
Rylie got Kittens that walk and purr, etc. It was really nice. We had such a fun day.

ReplyDeleteI love the line up picture and taking a picture of the tree before the kids see it. I might have to do that next year. Your tree looks beautiful. Mason got a pillow pet too and he loves it! I'm glad you had a good Christmas.
