Easter Morning

We had a great Easter. It was different to be away from family. The primary did a Easter egg hunt on Saturday but Jacob said it was not the same as the Jensen egg hunt. I was still glad they got to do a hunt anyway. The primary included the nursery kids too. Once Rylie understood what to do she loved it. She is such a candy kid!
The Easter bunny brought lots of different items in the basket this year and not as much candy. Rylie is having some dental work at the hospital on May 7th. I am sure candy was probably the culprit. So no jelly beans for her. But she did get chocolate and she was happy.

Eggs!

We had fun coloring eggs. Jacob carefully designs each of his eggs. He did some great ones this year that looked really cool. Ali made me a special pink egg that won every egg war! Jacob wanted to know what her secret was. She exclaimed that you soak the egg a long time and the color pink is the best.Joshua painted the most eggs. It might be because he had no patience. He would drop the egg into the color for only about 10 seconds before removing it.
Rylie was put down for a nap when the dye was brought out. We wanted to keep the table, floor, walls, and carpet all their original colors!

Alison's Birthday Party

Ali invited 5 friends over for a princess party. All 5 came! We painted nails, played balloon games, made crowns, and played freeze dance. She got lots of fun presents and had a pink crown cake with pink ice cream. Josh was involved with all of these activities. The girls thought it was funny when he wore the crown too. Rylie enjoyed the cake and ice cream and dancing. We are happy Ali is making friends and had such a good time.

Ali's 6th Birthday

Alison had a great birthday! Her dad bought her flowers and candy. She chose donuts for breakfast and mom took her to a Chinese buffet for dinner and went shopping to spend the birthday money she received from both sets of grandparents. I think next year we will just give her money and take her shopping again. She had so much fun. She went through the store and put anything she would want into the cart. The cart was completely full when she was done. Then, we went through the cart and she decided what to buy. She made sure she got the most for her money.
